We went to Blarney Castle located only 4kms away from where we are staying. When you first walk towards the castle it totally blows you away because how majestic it looks and you get a feeling that lots of things had happened here many years ago. It took a while to get to the top of the castle to see the blarney stone as there were heap of tourists and the narrow winding stone stairs slows you down a bit. I was impressed that Emily kissed the stone as I didn't think she would. After finally getting back down again we decided to take a 45 minute walk along the river which was so peaceful and relaxing.
